So sorry for being m.i.a. lately, been battling migrane and a spastic back, but on the mend i am glad to say!!!

Hi everyone,

Just getting up, are you, lol, getting ready for supper on this side, been a lovely crafting day so far, ohhhhhhhh love it!!!!

My friend is on a diet at the mo and needs a lot of encouragement, shame i feel for her, that's why i made this tag..... just for her....... , lol, it is one of Sandy Sommerfeld's Diva's , do go and check out her other images over at Squigglefly , all fun and no fuss !!
She also likes orange and blue, weird but true, lol, so made sure i stay towards that.

One of my teamies from Squigglefly, Charlene did the sentiment, absolutely love it and it is a reminder to my friend to ....' Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much '......, i just thought it rounded the tag/bookmark of perfectly, don't ya??

See, gotta make up for lost time again, racing against the clock, lol...

Pattie's Creations Challenge theme for the new challenge is Valentines and love !! Now here is a story behind the story ,lol

A while ago, Pattie had a Name The Digi challenge over at her group Pattie's Creations at CDAC , it was this cutie blowing bubbles. Now i did not win it, lol, but was so, so lucky to still get the image, the one on my card!!

Now the story behind.......hehehehe, a friend saw this image and we got to talking about the memories it brought back, the little plastic bottles and the loop, you blowing bubbles and seeing the rainbow colors, that sure was fun, right...!! She has a daughter about 7 years and she asked me to make something with which she can carry her( the mother) love over to the daughter and remind her of making memories, cause nobody can take that away from you!! So this was her Valentines card to her daughter, given with love!! I agree with her that it is the moments in life, where we live with love that leaves the memories!!

It is time for another New Release over at Squigglefly and you have to go check out the absolute fab new images!!!

When i saw these images , there are seven, from artist Fawn Palmer, i just knew what i wanted to make, wow, now-a=days that don't happen often, lol

Have not made a black/white creation in a while and while it is my fav with a splash of red, i also love doing colors, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuttttttttttt this one called for black and white..........hehehehehe

If you take a friend, add some love , you will find strength in unity, right! And this is what is said, Thank You My Friend!!!

Just added some pearls from PIZZAZZ APLENTY , Judy still has a super special on!!
Last but not least, i added some Washi Tape , from Sawyers Place and it was the Black Zigzag tape from the Sampson Collection( set of three). It is really such a pleasure working with it, quality is good and for such low a price, you get excellent value!!!

Hi there everyone,

Time for a new challenge over at Squigglefly and us Hobbyist's, lol, got a chance of being some inspiration to you!!

The challenge is to add a heart, anywhere, any size, ect on your card, celebrating Valentine's, are we??? Or should i say ............ Loveeeeeeeeeee.......

Well, i used an image from a new artist in store, Linda Birkinshaw and when i saw it, i fell totally in love, yeah, in loveeeeeeeeeeee.................:)) Those that know me well, know that i absolutely adore my furbabies and these two look so much like them, only diff being mine is both girls, lol , had a blast coloring it, hope you like what you see...........:))

And just to show you how much my furbabies, Tammy and Mia is looking like ....' Puppy Love' ........., here they are, sweet!!!

Ain't She Sweet..............

Hello there,

This week on PCP in the group Sassy Studio Designs, Lindsay gave us this cute Honey to with in the Fabulous Friday Freebie Challenge and the theme is .... ' Strange Love' ............. lol

Ok, i know Love is strange , lol, but still was not sure what i wanted to do and up popped some mojo.......hehehehe, in the form of a friends DD who will be married three years on Valentine's Day , sooooooooooo she wanted something a bit different, not valentine, but still also, not a congrats or any of the normal, lol, not sure again about the 'normal'.......... hehehehe

So i made this card, everything in 3's, eg: pearls and flowers , added the sentiment .....' Naughty But Nice'..........
Another thing i tried was to show how versatile Washi Tape can be , You will see i added some of th Double Red Dot Washi Tape and formed a rufflette, yikes, spelling here is wrong, arghhhh but you know what i mean, right!! Just look at it, bet you thought that was ribbon, right???? So, jump on over to Sawyers Place , there are so many delish rolls to choose from and they are a dream to work with!!!

She fetched it today and thought it was perfect of how she felt, lol, and what she wanted, always glad if i succeed in making someone smile...........:))

I had to make a very quick treat baggie for this afternoon, lol, my friend ran in saying she needs something in an hour, yikes, what now.............???

Then i remembered the link Pattie gave( thanks Pattie) to a baggie one could download, so jumped to it, got it printed and had this cute image from Limited Runs colored, wow, am i glad when a plan comes together,cause now i can also enter The Limited Runs Challenge with this............ lol

I attached the image to the baggie with a red Ribbon and voila............ finito . Inside was a small gift she was taking to a woman's meet where they were exchanging some valentine baggies, something small just to say ....' I Care' !! Thought that was such a good idea, we need to do that more often!!

Hi everyone,

Hope all is fine on your side of the globe, been real windy since friday and then those pieces of sand just gets into anything possible, lol.....

The Challenge over at Limited Runs is so nice and easy, lol, just use one of their images( regular freebies up for grabs) and some red Ribbon!

I used this absolute adorable little doggie with the love note and made a GC envelope for someone, this ladies hubby( who will be getting this one,lol) is totally Coke mad and don't like to much fussing, so i added a Red Ribbon with Coca Cola printed on, hehehehe and a coke tab charm, so cute and just for the love, added a heart charm, not much fussing here, right.................:))
Now she is going to put in a gift voucher to a restuarant that he just loves , oh i know i will be so chuffed about this!!

Getting ready for bed are you?? Or maybe midday right now ?? Well i have been up a while now, yikes still just past 4am, but are really having problem in sleeping, even tho i am so, so tired, wellllllllllll what do i do,,,,,,,,, i craft, at least doing something i love, right!!

Just wanted to bring you a peak at the new images that are released today , 11th , at Squigglefly and there are so many fab ones to choose from.......

I have used Catman by artist Sandy Sommerfeld and love this, needed a quirky valentines tag and in walked Catman, lol, just love the smirky smile he has, as if saying ......' Surprise!!! You don't know what is in the bag!!!' ......... LOL

Now i have another that Sandy also drawn, but won this and this Diva Angel is just as quirkie, lol, love the sentiment .... 'I can defy gravity' ......... lol, sure you can girl, take me with...........hehehehehe

Over at CARD-O-OLOGY , Chana has a super color challenge for us, Aqua/Green and Burnt Orange, what a lovely combo and i don't think i have used these colors together yet, soooooooo, always a 1st time right, quite liked the end result!!!

This was made for one of my friends son who wanted to give his teacher something to show he loves and appreciate her, ain't he just the sweetest and just 9 years old, going to be such a charmer, right...........:))

Hi everyone,

It is time for a new challenge over at Squigglefly and the theme is .... 'Make a B/Day card or tag' , easy right, how many of those do we need, right!!! You should check out the total eye popping candy brought to you by the team Rhonda's Rhowdy Rascals , just love it, so many new images to play with..............:))

I used the image ... ' Blown Kisses' by Lynne Stansbery and this card is made specifically for a lady being only 80 years young, still a spring chicka, right........:))
You can browse through the SHOP for this image and many more, have fun!!

Now on my card i have used , for the 1st time, some Washi Tape which you can find at Sawyers Place . The one i used is the black zig zag that is part of the Sampson Collection( set of 3). I have to be honest in saying that i absolutely love the feel of the tape, the different effects you get ( see my card - partly on white and partly on gold and both looks different). I used the Washi Tape instead of ribbon, now i can still add a bow somewhere if i want, just did not need it for this card, wanted it clean and simple! Do go and browse through the store, they are all stunning, ps: take your purse with, lol

Over at Flashback Friday's , they are challenging us to show our 1st black/white card we made and posted, lol, i went back and many had red in, so eventually i landed at Dec 2010 where i made a card for Dude Time Doodles and it was mostly black/white with some grey, yikes and when i look at it now, '''head hanging'''' and then i thought it was so nice, lol, but anyways, here it is , don't laugh please.......hehehehe

How are you on this wet, windy and cold day, yep, the heat is broken and we have been getting constant rain since yesterday and must say that it is such a welcome relief after that heat, the earth really needed this water!!

There are so many blogs that i cannot get a comment on and it makes me so sad, see such beauty on my dashboard, but cannot say it!!
Since i came across The Great Leveller ,where she shows how to change your comment settings, it has been just a pleasure, cause i now have a pop-up comment box and leaving a comment is not a prob. Have seen so many blogs going over to that and it just made my day!!

Hi everyone,

I have made a card or actually a double card, lol, which i have never tried, so please bear with me...., 1st some background for you to understand where this is coming from, LOL

I have been friends with Mary for what seems forever and even tho they have moved several times, each time further from me, yikes, we still stayed good friends, never missing sending xmas/b.day/hello cards and even valentine too, she is my BFF, not so..........:))
Well, when i got the e-mail the other day asking why i missed sending her a xmas card last year, boy did i know i was in trouble, lol, so just had to make it up to her, right!!! And that is why my card is double.............hehehehe, xmas and just because/valentine ..............

Now the image i used is one of Sassy Studio Designs - Valentine Honey, which i recently won over on PCP with the FFF Challenge, simply adore Lindsay's images, sweet/ sassy and super fun to play with!!! The new Dare To Be Sassy Challenge is to make a christmas/winter holiday card and this fitted so nicely into what i wanted to do!!!

I came across the challenge blog CR84FN Color Challenge Blog and their challengge was to use pink/red and light blue, ok, can work with these, will be different, but i like!!

Sooooo, the front of my card came together this way........
Pattern paper as bg , another strip of pp across, another square of pp over the strip, rounded my corners, the image was cut out with a circle cutter and placed on two other circle's a little bigger each time, you see, that's a lot of layering,lol.
Then i added a snowflake with gems, a die cut leave bush( sorry, not sure what the die is called), a chipboard bird which i colored blue and added some white lines with a gell roller and a small gem for the eyes.

Ok, you still hanging in there for me, lol, hold on tight, a bit of a bumpy ride..........hehehehe

Next i added a little bell with bow, some flowers, ok , a lot, lol, a greeting with some gold pearls, love them, and finally my buttons and a bow with flower in the last corner!

2nd Page i have my pp, adding two strips of ribbon, still staying with the colors pink/red and blue,another piece of pp on which i mounted a piece of plain cs, added a rub-on flair with a sentiment( Just(because) saying Hello) , tehn another heart were attched here with a brad with a Butterfly, so lovely, added another bow and some gems!!!

WOW that was a lot said, also the 1st time that i have put it out like that, yikes a few first's for me, lol,would love to hear what you think..........:))
Embellishments used were from my own stash and from PIZZAZZ APLENTY and MEI FLOWER , do check out these stores, they are stunning, fab service and yummy goodies!!

OK, now for the last( think it will def be my last in doing this,lol) 1st, to take on the challenge at Pile It On - Just Because and to see how many challenges can i pile on here, wish me luck!!

Shew, been a while, i know, i know, .. slapping hand..... , but had a big fight with Mr Mojo, he had the idea that cause it is so extremely hot here, he will go on vacation where there is some snow and hot cocao and all the rest, can you believe that, lol, but got hold of him this morning and strapped him to the chair, still sweating like crazy, but at least have some mojo..............hehehehe

Still running around trying to get everybody including the furbabes fed, everything in place, not a single piece of energy in this body of mine after todays greuling heat , again!!!!

But, i wanted to give you a heads up about a Tute at Squigglefly Blog , done by one of our DT ladies, Charlene and it is about the re-sizing of digi stamps!!!

Now i so wish i had this a year or so ago when i started with digi's. It was such a mission for me, knew nothing, printed them large, ouch, so wasted so much cs, still crying over that, lol, eventually i started asking and i am not one to ask for help easily, finally got it figured............:))

How is things in your neck of the woods??? Still way past hot here, 8pm now and you would not believe the heat, terrible.........:((

Sassy Studio over at PCP , have a super challenge at the mo and , yes, am in time this week, lol and the theme is ' Bottle It Up' ...... anything re: a bottle/ something out of a bottle/ect......... , now i used the super sweet freebie that Lindsay gave us to play with and added some super fine glitter( out of a bottle, lol) to her hat, cuffs and boots.
Was asked to make a card for someone with the wording ... 'Miss You' ....... on it and this image perfectly suited the sentiment,lol , so made a adjusted gatefold card, leaving the inside page clear to write on, but decorated the 1st and 2nd pages( do i call it that, age, cannot run away from it, right), i really like how this came out and think the recipient will also be happy!!

Nope, still have this terrible heat, feeling flat and wobbly, lol, must be all the drops running down everywhere, seriously this can stop a bit now.......hehehe

Now , if you have been visiting here for a while, you will know that the card i am going to show you, is totally not what i am used to, love thinking, lol, sometimes too much for my own good, and love piling on flowers and ribbon and pearls and and and........... hehehehe

But the Greetings Challenge over at the Outlawz really challenged me, we are to use a sentiment and one, yep you heard me, one embellishment, oh my, what to make..........??????
Had an idea in my head, made a card, urghhhhhhhh, went to file 13 without even considering, lol, at last i got a bit of mojo inbetween the heat and did the following::
Just my base, two strips of plain cs on top of that, added my sentiment .. 'Welcome' ....... and then as my embellishment i added a house, assembled 1st,lol, with some large glitter on the snow, must say, like the end result, Nothing is not Nothing , but Always Something if you look hard enough.......:))

Hope all is doing fine! Saw this challenge over at SIMPLICITY , where one have to make a one layer card, shew nothing on top, lol, and just used the colors Red/Pink .

Well, i made one and really like it, serious, i just stamped a bg stamp in dark pink with the words 'Thank You' in Red a bit layered on that and the only embellies used were three Red Pearls, what do you think??

How you doing?? Still extremely hot over here,having trouble to sleep at night with the heat, just when you think it is going to cool down now, arghhhhhh, time to get up, but up by 4am anyways, sooooooooo just craft, house is so quiet then, love it!!

Played with one of the adorable Honey's from Sassy Studio Designs and will be entering The Dare to be Sassy Challenge, had to use something new on the project, which is Flower and metal sentiment.

This is a belated Christmas card i made for a Special friend of mine, she has been on holiday, so will only give it to her this coming week,lol

It is absolutely like an oven here, smeltering hot, sweating as i am busy typing, yikes you can give me winter anytime, but i know some won't agree, lol, but believe you me, it is HOT!!!!!

Over at the Scrapbook Stamp Society , they have a challenge that is so right up my alley, lol, pink, yeah, love the color, so i had a ball playing with one of their images, such a cutie , you have to check out the rest of their images, gorjuss, i love the Lil Ragmuffins, ooohhhhhh lovely , ok, getting side-tracked here .........

Here is my entry in so many different shades of pink, love how it came out, hope you do too..............:))

Have a TIP for you here:
When you would like to place your pearls in a pattern, but battle with getting them in line or even out, do the following:;
Take a piece of acetate , trace the pattern you want to use, say a heart, take your ruler and mark dots at intervals, this will depend on how big the heart or other pattern is, take any sharp point tool and make large enough holes in the 'dots' , place the acetate pattern over the space you want to have it, make dots with your glue in the 'holes' , gently lift the acetate and place your pearls/gem on the glue dots and voila, a perfect pattern! Cut this pattern out and keep for next time!!

Hi again,

Now this is the 1st time i am doing this, linking up to What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday , this was so much fun, but be warned, LOL, can be scary............hehehe

As you know, the last couple of weeks have been so rushed and i usually ended up with being late for a challenge, lol, have a drawer full of colored images, lol, but at least it was relaxing....... right

Been working on a couple of projects and before i know it, everything is just everywhere, but i am sure you know the drill, lol, try this, no not this, get something else, not yet and then at last find something, only to leave the rest still laying there, yikes, so when i am finished, ok, not finished, never finished, but semy, my table looks like a hurricane just passed by.........hehehehe

Try to get everything back in place, yeah right, stays like that for a few moments, lol, and then back to havoc......
You will see papers, ink pads, scissors,ribbon,glue and more all around me, but am sure i am not the only one , right..............LOL

Hi there,

me again, lol, been crafting today, but it is so extremely hot, wow, after 6pm now and still boiling hot, but that's our summer, in a few winks we can have a thunder storm, even more so if it is so humid as now............

I used the image 20/40 Butterfly from The Stamping Boutique and they have such a super challenge on at the mo, the number 12 or 12 items on your project or 12 of the same on your project ( i have used 12 gems on mine) and when i saw Julia's card, i knew what i wanted to do, thanks Julia......:)) Been meaning to play with this image a while back, but just been so hectic with hols, at last i got down to it, love this!!

This a real CAS card for me, used some stickles on the image , colored with copic's , used some new embossed Card stock which i inked a bit with a white inkpad, then added my 12 gems, love the end result!!

How are things in your neck of the woods?? Seen some extreme winds, snow, cold and it is so smeltering hot here, wow, now past 5pm and the sun is still coming down with a force!!

Have a card for you today, it is one sweet image from Paper Cupcakes that i won ( so it's new,lol) recently, there are so many cute images to choose from, just go and have a look see...............:))

This is aslo the 1t time i made a card with this template, had some embossed cs which i cut up to look like the icing, yummy, added a heart as the cherry , inked the edges and over the base of the cupcake and lastly added some sparkle(tho you cannot see it in the pic) with my Atyou Spica pen - clear.

The day has been so lovely so far, had some weird weather during the rest of the week with Christmas day raining here, it's our summer, lol, but i think the weekend will be super, hope yours is too!!

Are you busy un-winding from all the excitement?? See some are working, shame, feel sorry for you !! I have a few days, will be back at work on the 3rd Jan 2012, wow, that feels so funny saying, this year just flew right past........:))

You know the feeling when you have an image , and then stand looking at it, wondering what to do..............., arghhhhhhhhhhhhh hate that when it happens!!
Lucky for me, i came across a tute for mini paper albuns over at Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings , it clicked, lol, i heard it.........hehehe , now i have made this before and love doing it , so got my plot now and set off to plan,lol

Got my bags, folded them, then spritzed them with Tim Holtz and Dazzles , gives a pattern and some shine. Tied it in the middle with some rafia and then added my images. I added images only to the 1st two pages, as the others will be used for holiday photo's, you will see i have a round 'hand' clip holding the other pages together, so just added a small clear acrylic circle with a brad to the cover page and used some ribbon to tie it together as seen in the 1st pic...........

1st Page have Cover Girl and 2nd Page have Autum wind . Now both these images and sooooooooooooooooooo many more super images can by found in the Squigglefly Shop , just click on the link and enjoy browsing...............:))

We have an extra day holiday today, so have to make the most of it, lol, so am playing.........:))

We are now at challenge nr9 over at the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge #9 and this time we again got some stunning images , real fun to play with!!

My 1st project i used the Snowglobe from Crafty Ann's , wow, such a versatile image, can see using this to make some magnet with the little one's pic, and then fussy cut the image from DigiStamp 4 Joy to fit inside the globe.

Now i was asked to make this for a friend who just became a gramma and she wanted this to keep all the small things, like a termometer,ect together.....
Used a re-cycled item, previously used for stationary and decorated it with some bg paper, lots of ribbon and very few embellies. Think it came out real good, excuse the last pic, think my batteries need a lift again, lol, these were the last i was taking, thank goodness it kept till then.......hehehehhe

So appreciate each and everyone of you, thanks for the support, means a lot!!

I recently won an image from Margaret Kieser, a talented digi artist from Denique Crafts while doing the hop with Pattie's Creations. It is such a cute image, something different and really enjoyed playing with it, thanks again Margy !!!

I decided to do some non-traditional colors with this one and quite like the outcome.

Hi everyone,

Hope you have done most of the last mad rushing about, lol, i still have to do a Trifle, Rice salad and a few odds and ends, we will be having the main meal, main(lots) being the operative word here....hehehehe, food there will be in abundance, but on Christmas day we will be chillaxing with what is over, which is normally a lot...........:))

Hi everyone,

Whew, but this week has just flown past, no serious, cannot believe we are at thursday already.............:))

When i recieved the e-mail from Holly ( Squigglyfly) to ask if i would like to join the team, i was so humbled and honoured, sure did not take me long to reply with a ....' Big Yes'........ !!!!

I stepped down from all DT groups( one of them the term ended) , because of having no computer, but i miss the fun, excitement and friendships build , so here i am , all ready for action,lol , hope you will join me in the fun!!

Had the last two days off cause it was DH b/day, so got to play too, hehehehe, gotta make room for that, right....

I used this super cute image of Rudolph playing to his heart content some Xmas music , oh yes and he decided to wear a white jacket,lol, no traditional 'black' for me he said, so that was done as said.......hehehehe

I made a Gatefold card, with a pocket inside for a giftcard, lol, already in the pocket, my friend will love this seeing that she is such a music fan and love anything with Rudolph on( her kids get to watch the movie and animated all the time, you got the song in your head yet, lol, well i have)

Santa's Ornament !!

Hello there,

Today i have an ornament to show you, this was such fun to make!!!
I used a image from Scrappers Delight and Janice was so sweet to provide us with this freebie of Santa, oh my, he will always be sweet even if he lost my address, lol
I added some 'flocking powder' to the cuffs( it is a bit finer than flower soft).
I took a wire heart, wrapped some cream straw haphazzard around it, took some red ribbon pieces and tied to the ire , used some twine to attach a christmas bauble at the bottom and last, but not least, attached my santa image to the middle of my wire heart, think this would look absolutely lovely on the tree, ya think???

Hope you are having a super day so far, some getting out of bed, some getting to bed and some getting ready for bed, yikes, these time zones plays havoc with my mind,lol

Have a card for you today, got to playing a bit, lol, this is one of the Angel images from Scrappers Delight and entering it into the current challenge : Christmas/Winter , Janice just have the most gorjuss images and scrappers kits , have a look in the STORE .......

Made a different gatefold card, have two 'gates' opening in the middle of the card , love this cut, ok, got a bit carried away with the gems, lol, but the paper just asked to be blinged-up, right???
She is one sweet angel , will be going to a dear friend of mine who is also like an angel to me, added some flowers and bling, lol.

Added some ribbon on both sides wit a bow, yip, made it myself, so chuffed with them.........hehehehe

Yikes, getting my last project in just in time for the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge #8 and used the image from Mc Mahon Five Designs , this is such a versatile image that can be used for many occassions, love it!! Made a tag, yikes, still need a few more, but will get there!!!

Hope everyone is fine, we have had such wind the last couple of days, but then again, we are know as 'The Windy City', lol

This will be my 4th entry into the CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge #8 and i have used the image from Guylou's Inimitability , she is such a cutie and fun to color,, love her!!!

I added some 3-D Medium on the fishbowl to give it some dimension, thanks Tammy for the inspiration.............:)) The tag will be given to a close friend who is always there for me, hence the 'peace' charm added, she brings that into my life!!!

Hello there,

I have made something new for me , a 'Waterfall Card' , so please bear with me if i made any mistakes ,lol

Was so much fun and was asked to make a fun/funny card for Xmas, so i knew just what to do...............hehehhe

Limited Runs has this image of 'santa's bag' and the sentiment is :: the present is not in the bag ........LOL , love that , then the 2nd part of the card , shows a present,lol, it is an image from Pattie's Ceations Designs , kept is very plain so to keep the recipient wondering.........
When you look under that, ooooooops , a gift card, lol, so , no box wrapped.... hehehehe , but boy will they enjoy spending the gift card!!!

My Night of Music!!!

Hi all,

Said i would tell you about the evening with Josh Groban, share some pic's and here i am at last with it................:))

It was picnic style, meaning we sit on the grass, yep, it was outside, overcast and looking like rain. But did i care, nope, not at all, in the end, i got to sit right in front, right in the middle of the stage, oh wow, that was exciting!!!

Josh had no opening act, he did the whole two hours along, absolutely amazing, boy can he sing, two hours of utter contentment and happiness, was worth every penny paid.

The 1st pic is where i sat, but looking at our stadium behind me.

Just look at the overcast sky, stunning!!
2nd pic is of the stage in front.

That was while i was still sitting more to the side, only later got to move right in front of the stage!!!!
3rd pic is............. Josh!!!!

He is just so cute and funny.
4th pic,lol, .............Josh

Hope you enjoyed that, wish i can post them all, but that is a bit too blog heavy........hehehe

Note to self:::: Get to know your camera, lol, took 90 pic's, yeah, were trigger happy, but only 46 were worth it, only after someone showed me how to zoom, i know, i know, slapping myself, only then i could see what i took.....hehehe, but still have a lot and the memories, WOW!!!!!!!
